Rapper Kanye West is being sued for false promises over his latest album. The lawsuit is against West and the streaming service Tidal making claims that Life of Pablo would only be available on Tidal.
My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale... You can only get it on Tidal.

Dedicated Yeezy fans immediately purchased memberships to the service to later find out TLOP was also being released on Apple Music, as well as Spotify.
Fan Justin Baker-Rhett, according to arstechnica, is asking the court to certify a class action against West, as well as S. Carter Enterprises, owned by Rapper Jay-Z, who is also a very good friend of West's. Rhett claims that West and Jay-Z used false advertising to defraud customers and practiced unfair competition for them to make money off the millions that subscribed to listen to TLOP.
@ReformedBroker Kanye West (as much as I love him) lied & deceived thousands of people to get Tidal (which I love) subscribers numbers UP.

After its launch, Tidal wasn't getting many subscribers; however, after TLOP was set to release, their numbers soared from 1 million to 3 million.
