At the conclusion of MTV’s Teen Mom 2’s Season 6, Leah Messer’s ex-husband, Corey Simms, has reportedly quit the show.
The reunion shows, plus the Teen Mom 2: Unseen Moments, is what sent Simms over the edge, according to reports. Messer and Simms’ wife, Miranda, got into it and Messer even publicly talked about an affair she had with Simms during his first year of marriage with his first wife.
“Corey is done with the show,” a source told Life & Style. “He’s told MTV he will not return for another season. He doesn’t think the money is worth the aggravation anymore.”
Simms and Messer share twins; Aliannah and Aleeah Simms and she has another daughter, Adalynn Calvert, with her most recent ex-husband Jeremy Calvert.
Messer checked into rehab during the last few episodes of this season, and Simms confronted her on his worries about her parenting style during this season.
Simms reportedly feels like if he quits the show, it will rid him of unnecessarily living through his issues with Messer on-camera. He has since quit Twitter as well.
