New Marvel Netflix shows could feature The Punisher, Blade and Ghost Rider

With the release of Daredevil on Netflix, Marvel is currently in Phase 1 of their TV universe. We're now hearing what exciting ideas the studio might have planned for Phase 2.

According to Heroic Hollywood, Marvel is considering a bunch of ideas for Phase 2. They're going to be doing more with Defenders, but they're also tossing around the idea of making shows revolving around The Punisher, Blade and Ghost Rider.

Apparently, though, the studio is concerned about those characters being too violent and potentially too supernatural for audiences to take seriously. For these Netflix, shows Marvel is going for a "hard PG-13," which would probably be difficult with Punisher.

We can also apparently look forward to more crossover between the TV shows and the movies. Marvel is working hard on getting Dr. Strange to appear in Defenders, and there's even a rumor that they might try a limited movie or mini-series revolving around Hawkeye or Black Widow.

In terms of what we know for sure, coming to Netflix later this year will be A.K.A. Jessica Jones, followed by Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders.

Marvel's new Netflix show Daredevil has become insanely popular, earning a second season and becoming the top rated show on Netflix, as we previously reported.
