Kelly Clarkson returned to the place that started her career, American Idol and she brought along her husband, Brandon Blackstock and daughter, River Rose for the experience.
Clarkson took to Instagram and posted a picture of her family outside of her dressing room, River Rose is seen smiling in the picture. The "Heartbeat Song" singer called them her entourage and told fans to tune into the show.
E! Online reported that Idol contestants performed some of Clarkson's biggest hits and she was on hand to help coach the vocalists.
Clarkson performed her audition song, "At Last" and latest single "Heartbeat Song" on the show, AOL news added that it had been 13 years since Clarkson auditioned for Idol.
The contestants sang hits like, "Since U Been Gone," "Dark Side," "Miss Independent" and "The Trouble With Love Is." All of the contestants came together to sing Clarkson's hit "People Like Us." Daniel Seavey was eliminated from the competition.
