'90s singer Charmayne Maxwell dies at 46

Charmayne Maxwell, who was part of the ‘90s girl group Brownstone, died at the age of 46 on Saturday.

The singer’s brother, Brandon Maxwell, confirmed the news on Twitter after her death. He wrote that she died in the “most terrible way.”

"Bad things happened to the most innocent people,” he wrote. He also slammed reports she died from committing suicide, calling the rumors “BS."

Reports from the Danish media state Maxwell, who was known as Maxee, died after falling following her son’s soccer game over the weekend.

According to TMZ, she died Friday night after her husband, Danish producer Carsten Schack, found her bleeding due to a cut on her neck. She reportedly fell on glass from a broken wine glass.

She reportedly died at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles from losing too much blood.
