Kanye West is bringing in the big guns for his “All Day” video, enlisting 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen to direct it.
West premiered the song at the Brit Awards last week and revealed McQueen directed it during a lecture at Oxford University on Monday. He’s been in the UK since the event in support of his new album So Help Me God.
"I was sitting with Steve McQueen; he shot the visuals for 'All Day' two days ago. It's completely different to the Brit Awards," he told the students, Rolling Stone reports.
The speech was at the Museum of Natural History, where West fashion’s classism.
“Clothing should be like food. There should never be a $5,000 sweater," he said. "You know what should cost $5,000? A car."
