Top 10 moments from 'The Flash' episode 'Crazy For You'

This week on The Flash, Barry came up against a woman named Shawna Baez, who could transport herself anywhere she wanted to as long as she could see where she was going. She uses her abilities to break her boyfriend, Clay Parker, out of jail, who owes money to a very dangerous criminal. In this episode, Henry tries to help his son by snooping, which only ends up hurting him in the end.

Meanwhile, Cisco still uses The Pied Piper for help, but this ends up backfiring against him, even when he gets new information regarding Ronnie and the missing Martin Stein. While this is going on, Caitlin and Barry decide to try and have a social life of their own. Iris also has her own small plot when she tries to get help from Barry in figuring out how to get news on the Flash.

For those who loved hearing Grant Gustin singing on Glee, even though he wasn’t utilized much, you get to hear some of his smooth vocals while also seeing Barry get a new romantic interest in Linda Park. And we get an amazing speech from Henry to his son. Check out our top ten moments from “Crazy For You.”

10. Barry’s date

Barry meets Linda Park in this episode while he is at a dive bar with Caitlin. After seeing Barry doing some karaoke, Linda introduces herself and she uses a method of bumping their phones together to put her contact information into his phone.

9. Flash and Shawna

The Flash has an encounter with Shawna and while he is able to catch her at times, but then Clay Parker arrives and shoots toward him. The Flash is able to stop the bullet, although it does graze him since he almost did get shot, much to Caitlin’s chagrin later.

8. Cisco and Rathaway

Cisco gets help from Rathaway in finding out more about what happened to Ronnie Raymond. Not only does Cisco discover that Martin Stein was at S.T.A.R. Labs the night of the explosion, but that security footage showed Martin melding with Raymond after the explosion. Rathaway, at one point, attempts to escape, but Cisco is able to stop him. Unfortunately, the second time, Rathaway gets the best of Cisco and does end up escaping.

7. Henry snooping

Henry decides to help Barry by finding out information about the thug who Clay Parker owes money too. Unfortunately, this causes one of the man’s goons in prison to beat and stab him.

6. Helping Iris

Barry tries to help Iris with her story on The Flash since she is expected to work that angle. However, when he tries to find her at one point, she is on her way to a date with Eddie to visit his mother. This disheartens Barry, as he still has some hope she might like him back. Later, Iris sees Linda and Barry heading off for a date as we find out Linda works at the same place as Iris.

5. Social life

Caitlin and Barry talk about the fact that neither of them really have a social life, so they decide to go out and have some fun. This leads to Caitlin getting really drunk and Barry, always the gentleman, takes her home and tucks her into bed.

4. Father/son moment

While searching Clay’s prison cell for clues, Barry gets a surprise visit from his dad. He is able to stand close to him and hold his hand, which he hasn’t been able to do for a long time. It turns out Joe was able to put it together for him.

3. Karaoke

Barry and Caitlin show off their singing ablities….which is actually just Barry’s singing abilities since Caitlin can’t carry a tune. It’s a short clip, but hearing Barry sing is always a good thing!

Caitlin names the metahuman

While Cisco is off making things even more difficult for his friends, Caitlin ends up being the one to name our metahuman this week. She comes up with “Peek-A-Boo.”

1. Henry knows

Barry checks on his father in the hospital at the end of the episode, where he has a newspaper with a photo of The Flash in action, much to Barry’s surprise. Iris had gotten the photo on her phone when The Flash showed up to give her a story to work with. Barry and Henry talk about the Flash and we discover that it is more than likely Henry knows it is his son.
