Beyonce's Grammys performance will be 'so dramatically different' than past performances

The last time Beyonce hit the Grammys stage was last year when she opened the show with her husband, Jay Z, to perform their hit “Drunk in Love.” This year, however, will be a much different performance altogether.

In fact, the President/CEO of The Recording Academy, Neil Portnow, said it would be “so dramatically different” than any previous performance she’s done.

"Well this will be so dramatically different than anything you've seen her do in a long time," he told E! News. "It's really going to be a spectacular moment for us and for her for sure."

Beyonce will perform “Take My Hand Precious Lord" by herself before joining John Legend and Common to sing "Glory" from the Selma soundtrack.

The song was nominated for a Best Original Song Oscar and won the Golden Globe.

Portnow also called the entire line-up of performers “off the hook” and “killer,” adding there are “great combinations of some unexpected things so I think everybody will be very pleased.”
