CBS reported that during an upcoming TV interview, Perry explained that Kravitz would be one of her special guests and said that it was energy that attracted Perry to work with him.

“He’s got so much style and a certain, how do you say,je ne sais quoi…he’s the king of cool," said Perry. "He’s the coolest. He’s the king of cool. He’s going to make me so much cooler that day.”

Kravitz released his tenth studio album, Strut, on his own record label Roxie Records via Kobalt Label Services. He has also been working in acting and was seen in both The Hunger Games and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The Super Bowl will be held at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on February 1st.

Last year the halftime stage was taken over by Bruno Mars with help from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Over 115 million viewers tuned into to watch Mars perform back in 2014, Star Pulse added.
