Global Warming may put ice in danger around the world, but there is still enough ice thick enough in Slovakia that a hiker could walk across it. Two hikers found a frozen mountain lake that is so clean, it makes it appear as though they are walking on air.
Since the video was posted on Sunday, it has earned over 2.1 million views and over 9,000 likes. Thomas N, who posted it, wrote that the 38-second video was taken in the High Tatras Mountains in the Eastern European country.
The video shows a beautiful view of the mountains, then is turned straight to the ground. While ice is typically cloudy, we can see right through to the bottom. It really looks like the man behind the camera is walking on air!
So, it turns out that Elsa in Frozen isn’t the only one who can create beautiful ice. Mother Nature is pretty good at it, too.
