Twitter reactions to Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's son Reign Disick's name

Mason was cute. Penelope is daring. Reign is controversial.

Kourtney Kardashian revealed the name of her third child with longtime love Scott Disick. The newborn expands the Kardashian klan, the nation's most famous reality-television family, which is headed by momager Kris Jenner.

Aunt Kim Kardashian West should not be excused for naming her daughter North, after a compass direction. But some celebrity names are so out there, you just roll your eyes and move on. But Kourtney has, so far, seemed to be relatively normal with monikers, at least by Hollywood standards.

But Reign, well, that's not earning rave reviews. Gawker may have put it best by declaring that America finally has a little king. In a hilarious post , the site notes that the Kardashians are the royal family our nation never knew it wanted, and the babe's name is name is synonymous with the things America loves the most: power, prestige, possessions and - for which the Kardashians are most thankful - the social caste system.

To be fair, someone has to be brave and pick an unusual name before it catches on. "Penelope" was once outdated. Now, it's hot. (Some names fail, like "Apple" and "North".) Still, we're sure plenty of little "Reigns" will be born in 2015. But until the name becomes buzzworthy, here's what Twitter users have to say:

Nothing to make fun of there, writes one user.

Reign Aston Disick. Definitely nothing to make fun of there.
