Lil Wayne's manager says rapper is 'good' with Cash Money

Lil Wayne might not be leaving the Cash Money label after all, at least as far as his manager is aware. Cortez Bryant said that there was nothing wrong between the two sides.

As he was walking out of a club in Los Angeles last night, TMZ caught up with Bryant and asked him if this was the end of an era.

“Of course not,” Bryant replied. “We’re good!”

When pressed, Bryant said that if there was a problem, he wouldn’t be out at the Penthouse club.

As we previously reported, Wayne went off on Twitter about Cash Money, claiming that the label refuses to release his long-awaited Tha Carter V.

“I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy,” he wrote. “I am a prisoner and so is my creativity.”

According to MTV News, Tyga also suggested that he might be dropping off of YMCMB, but Bryant told TMZ that everything was good with him as well.

Lil Wayne’s tweets might have been some kind of publicity stunt, but it still doesn’t change the fact that there has been little promotion for Tha Carter V. It has been delayed several times and is supposed to be out on Tuesday.
