Fans will get to collect masks under a creepy moon all over again, as
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask comes to the 3DS.
The Majora’s Mask remake was revealed on Wednesday for Nintendo’s handheld during an online presentation by Nintendo, according to Kotaku. The game is directly connected to the Nintendo 64 game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which was remade in 2011.
Majora’s Mask is considered different compared to the other games in the series, according to The Verge. The series’ hero Link goes from the land of Hyrule to Termina, where he has to save the land from being hit by a large moon in three days. Among other moments in the game, the game’s overall tone was considered dark.
IGN reported that a special edition version of the game was announced, but only for Europe. The merchandise for the edition included a pin, a poster, and a steel case for the game. No other countries have currently been announced to receive the special edition.
Majora's Mask will come out on the system in Spring 2015, according to Kotaku.
