Two stars will head a new video game by Remedy Entertainment.
The video game developer tweeted that actors Shawn Ashmore and Dominic Monaghan will lead the cast in their new game Quantum Break, according to Digital Spy. Ashmore had most famously portrayed Iceman in many of the X-Men movies, while Monaghan was in Lord of the Rings and Lost. Remedy Entertainment’s previously developed game was Alan Wake for the Xbox 360.
Monaghan originally tweeted the news, according to IGN, but his post was deleted. Remedy then posted up their own tweet officially revealing the two actors in motion-capture uniforms for the game.
Digital Spy also reported that Quantum Break will be released with a television series at some time in 2015. The game and show’s story involves time distortions and a group that must stop them before those distortions destroy the world. Player’s actions will affect the show and the show will give information to players on game progression.
IGN reported that the game will be released only on the Xbox One.
