This year’s Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve special will have an extra Nashville flavor thanks to Gavin DeGraw and Lady Antebellum. The country artists will perform during the show live from Music City.
Dick Clark Productions announced the additions to the line-up this morning. They already booked Taylor Swift, who will help the Times Square crowd stay warm with “Shake It Off.” Over 1 million fans are expected to be packed into Times Square to see the ball drop.
Ryan Seacrest is again hosting the event, since he signed a multi-year deal with ABC. He did his first solo show at the end of 2012, following the death of his mentor, Dick Clark.
The 2014 show featured Jennifer Hudson, Robin Thicke, Fall Out Boy and Enrique Iglesias. More artists will also be added for the 2015 show.
DeGraw’s performance is timed with the release of his greatest hits record, Finest Hour: The Best of Gavin DeGraw, which came out on Oct. 21. Lady A also recently released a new album, 747, which features the hits “Bartender” and “Freestyle.”
ABC starts live coverage of New Year’s Eve festivities at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31.
