Eminem was among the performers that took the stage at the Concert for Valor in Washington D.C. on Tuesday night, which was Veteran’s Day. Unlike the other performers, he had Twitter all fired up for the constant use of the F-bomb.
The “Stan” rapper, who is currently in the headlines for his violent lyrics about punching Lana Del Rey in the face “like Ray Rice,” reportedly yelled during the HBO special "Happy Motherf—ing Veterans Day."
Daily News reports the crowd at the National Mall didn’t seem to mind one bit, as they were really enjoying his performance. He even surprised fans by bringing Rihanna out to perform their hit song “The Monster.”
While some fans blasted the rapper for using so much profanity in what’s supposed to be a respectable tribute to our troops, some dismissed it as a mainstay in his rap persona.
Here were some Twitter reactions against the F-bombs:
Would it be too much to ask for @Eminem not to drop so many f-bombs on the National Mall at the #ConcertForValor?

Great idea for the #ConcertForValor , not so great language from Eminem. Maybe a different choice next year?

#ConcertForValor Why would @Eminem use excessive profanity at a family event? He used to be famous, and sadly, he wants to be famous again

Here are some defending him:
As a veteran - #Eminem was awesome at #ConcertForValor - some off by his F-bombs? I'm not a fan of swearing; but it shows passion - kudos!

They're STILL mad at Eminem for swearing on HBO yesterday...? Can we take a second to think about who we're talking about? #ConcertForValor
