Beyonce really is releasing something new, sort of

Beyonce is going to drop something new this holiday season, but it won’t be as earth-shattering as last year’s surprise album. Instead, she is releasing a new edition of BEYONCE, which will feature new remixes and only two new songs.

Over the weekend, a leaked image of a press release claimed that Beyonce was releasing BEYONCE Vol. II in a new box set with last year’s album. The new record was allegedly going to include “DONK” with Nicki Minaj and “Renouncement” with Justin Timberlake. However, neither of those songs will appear on the new edition of BEYONCE. It will also not include a new DVD with the HBO On The Run tour special.

According to Rolling Stone, what the new edition of BEYONCE will include are “7/11” and “Ring Off,” two completely new tracks. The remix of “Flawless” with Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams’ remix of “Blow,” and “Drunk in Love” with Jay Z and Kanye West will be included. “Standing on the Sun” will be included as a remix by Mt. Vegas.

BEYONCE: Platinum Edition Box Set will also feature a new DVD with video from the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. The original DVD with the “visual album” from the first release is also carried over.

Anyone who did buy BEYONCE digitally when it first came out in December 2013 will be able to download just the new material.

It is still not known when or if the tracks on the leaked memo will appear soon. In the meantime, you can pick up the Platinum Edition on Nov. 24.
