The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed veteran defensive end Brett Keisel.
On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Keisel flew out to Arizona to meet with the Cardinals, but flew back after he found out that the Steelers wanted to re-sign him.
The 35-year-old then took to Twitter to let fans know he was excited about reuniting with his old team and posted a photo of himself inking the deal on Wednesday.

The contract in which both parties agreed to is for two years.
Keisel, a fan favorite, had been part of the Steelers organization since they drafted him in 2002. He became a free-agent in March, but reportedly wanted to return to Pittsburgh and finish his career there. Wednesday’s signing almost solidifies that will be the case.
Over his 12-year career, Keisel has recorded 246 tackles, 29 sacks and 7 forced fumbles, according to Pro-Football-Reference.com.
Last season, he played in 12 games with the team and recorded 20 tackles and 4 sacks.
