During what was supposed to be a peaceful joint practice on Tuesday, the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys got into a brawl that included a fan throwing some punches.
ESPN noted that during the altercation a Raiders fan hit Cowboys’ cornerback B.W. Webb in the back twice.
If you blink you might miss it, but close inspection of the video footage shows what appears to be a fan striking Webb before he aggressively pulls away from the rowdy spectator.
"Two teams going after it and happened to be some fans, too," Webb said. "Hey man, it happened. I wasn't expecting that. But whoever jumped on my back, I had to get them off. Hey, you got to let them know, man, the only thing protecting you is this fence."
The fight started after Mychal Rivera caught a pass and was quickly taken down by Morris Claiborne. Some of the Raiders players had a heated reaction to the hard hit and got into a scuffle, which then moved along the fence where the fans were.
After practice, the Cowboys tweeted a photo of the brawl with a message referencing UFC.
Hey @ufc, some of these guys may have a future with you http://t.co/FdyRsVD1wT pic.twitter.com/uUUlTVs9ey
