Simon Helberg, who plays Howard Wolowitz on The Big Bang Theory is a dad for the second time to a baby boy.
Contact Music reported the baby was actually born on April 23 of this year although the news is just coming out. Helberg revealed the pregnancy news while at the Screen Actors Guild Award in January. He and his wife, Jocelyn Towne, have a daughter, Adeline.
According to Us Weekly, a rep for Helberg confirmed the news. The baby boy’s name is Wilder Towne Helberg. Reportedly, while doing a Q&A sesson on Reddit, they also confirmed the news there that they had two children within the past two years.
While on the red carpet, Helberg spoke to Entertainment Tonight and jokingly said, “Yes, my wife is [pregnant,] I can’t take all the credit.”
The couple has been married since 2012 and their daughter is two-years old.
The Daily Mail reported that while the Reddit interview did mention the baby’s birth and there had been pictures taken of the couple with the baby, this is the first mention of the baby’s name.
Helberg’s show The Big Bang Theory will be returning this fall and it was announced a few months ago the show would be returning for two more seasons.
