Eminem will be making history when he takes the stage at London's Wembley Stadium on July 11th. It has now been announced that opening the show for Eminem will be Odd Future. Eminem broke the news to fans on his Instagram account when he posted a picture of Odd Future's Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt.
Billboard reported that Eminem will be playing the venue on July 11th and 12th. This will mark the first time that a hip-hop artist has headlined the venue.
Eminem will be playing the iconic venue that can hold 90,000 fans after he plays shows in the United States with Rihanna which have already sold out. The tour is only making three stops in the U.S. including, Detroit, Los Angeles and New York.
Eminem had headlined a few festivals in the area but this will be the first time that he will be playing a show in London since 2001. He played the no longer existent Docklands Arena in early 2001.
The "Rap God" recently made headlines around the world for his heartfelt music video for the single "Headlights" which is featured on his latest album, Time reported. The video which was directed by Spike Lee, is one of the most personal videos Eminem has released.
