Deadmau5 announces new album, 'While (1<2),' release date

EDM artist, Deadmau5, has announced the release date of his upcoming album, While (1<2), will be June 17th of this year.

NYEDM first reported the news saying that pre-orders for the seventh studio album can be placed starting on May 10th. This new album will feature a two-disc release with 25 tracks. While (1<2> is the follow up effort to 2012's Album Title Goes Here.

The rumors starting fly about the album release date when Deadmau5 retweet a tweet that had hints regarding the album release date.

Billboard reported that the album is likely to feature a variety of collaborations including, his fiancee Kat Von D.

Deadmau5, who's real name is Joel Zimmerman, recently spoke about the process of putting together such a large album when he has such a variety of musical projects in the works. "While (1<2)" would contain “fresh stuff that’s going to attract new fans" and “a couple of tracks that are quite radio-friendly, not even dance music, that [I'm] going to put out as singles," said Deadmau5.
