TV Ratings: 'Voice' ratings down, but NBC still wins Tuesday night

Last night television's ratings are in and NBC has won the night even with a decrease in viewership from the popular reality singing competition The Voice. NBC was also the night's top programing for young adults.

NBC started off the night with The Voice which was followed by new comedies About a Boy and Growing Up Fisher.
Chicago Fire ended the evening for NBC. CBS was in reruns so the battle came down to ABC versus NBC, Variety reported.

These weeks eposide of The Voice saw the teams be completed and showed audiences a preview of the battle rounds that are coming up next week. Celebrity mentors join the coaches and help to have each team compete individual to advance to the knockout rounds, MTV reported.

The Peacock network took first place in all key demo areas and was a close second in total overall viewers to CBS. Fox network continued to struggle and was in fourth place for the night.

ABC enjoyed an upswing in ratings as Agents of Shield drew in 5.8 million viewers overall. The network also saw a gain for the struggling show Trophy Wife which had 2.9 million viewers.

In total CBS brought in 9.4 million viewers for Tuesday, followed by NBC with 9.2 million and ABC with 4.0 million.
