Shakira posted the news on her Facebook page with an image, thanking fans for helping her become the most liked musician in the world.
The post reads, "I always wanted to have a lot of friends but never imagined it would be so many... 86 [million]! So humbled, can't thank you guys enough for your support. I feel so fortunate to have you," Billboard detailed.
The Latin superstar will be releasing her latest studio album on Tuesday. The album features the lead single "Can't Remember to Forget You," which features Rihanna. The single has peaked at No. 15.
E! Online reported that Shakira will also be releasing her self-titled album at Target with three exclusive tracks.
