Prosecutors are working to ensure 19-year-old, Miranda Barbour and 22-year-old husband, Elytte Barbour, get the death penalty after the teenage wife admitted to killing 42-year-old, Troy LaFerrara and many other men to a local newspaper. Involved in a satanic colt, Miranda met LaFerrara through a Craigslist ad offering “companionship” before stabbing the man to death as her husband wrapped a cord around LaFerrara’s neck in Sunbury, Pennsylvania on Nov. 11, 2013.
Ms. Barbour used a jailhouse phone to tell the newspaper that LaFerrara was not her first victim. Joining a satanic cult in Alaska when she was 13 years old, Barbour admitted to having slayed more than 20 people since in Alaska, Texas, California, North Carolina, and now Pennsylvania.
“When I hit 22 [people], I stopped counting,” said Barbour to the Sunbury, Pa., Daily Item newspaper on Friday.
After meeting over the Internet, Barbour had agreed to have sex with Laferrara for $100. Originally planning on letting him out of her car after she picked him up from a shopping mall, Barbour instead stabbed the man 20 times after “he said the wrong things.” Elytte, who hid under a blanket in the back of the car before he began to choke LaFerrara, told investigators that the couple committed the crime, because they wanted to kill someone together and it marked their third week wedding anniversary reported the Associated Press.
