The Disney animated film, Frozen has been spending a lot of time at the top of the Billboard top 200 charts but Now 49 has taken over the top spot from Frozen.
Now 49 debuts on the charts with 98,000 copies sold in the first week it has been on sale, Billboard reported. Frozen sold 88,000 copies this week.
Now 49 is the 24th various-artists compilation to reach the top spot on the charts. The last Now album to top the charts was Now 43.
The milestone Now 50 is set to be released in May. The release of Now 49 comes exactly 15 years after the first Now album reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200.
The success of Frozen is likely to continue on as Idina Menzel will be performing the hit "Let It Go" at the upcoming Academy Awards, Entertainment Weekly added. The soundtrack is likely to pass one million in sales next week.
Frozen is still doing well in theaters and has been recently re-released in theaters as a sing-along version.
