MTV has ordered a 10-eposide series to "Eye Candy" a drama that will be executive produced by Catherine Hardwicke and Jason Blum. The show will focus on former Nickelodeon star, Victoria Justice.
The show will focus on Justice, who plays a beautiful but shy hacker whose blog exposes many dark and twisted plans including, terrorist plots and even murders.
The Wrap reported that even though the pilot was so impressive that it got a full series oder, the show will be recast but Justice will stay on in the staring role.
The upcoming television show is based on a novel by R.L. Stine and the script was written by Emmy Grinwis.
Blumhouse Productions will by executive producing the show along with Hardwicke. Hardwicke is known for her work on is known for Thirteen and for directing the first Twilight.
Variety added that the network has not yet announced any more information surrounding the series or a premiere date.
