Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart became emotional at the end of a loss to Texas Tech by shoving a fan as the game had six seconds remaining with the Cowboys down by four points. The Cowboys ultimately lost 65-61 to the Red Raiders.
According to USAToday, Smart received a technical foul for his actions. He was not ejected though, and his teammates instantly restrained him as much as they could after his shove. Smart fell out of bounds and was apparently in a war of words with the fan before he pushed him.
This is not the first time Smart has made headlines for an emotional outburst. He recently stormed off the court after fouling out with only four points in a game against West Virginia, according to CBS Sports.
Oklahoma State head coach Travis Ford declined to comment on the shoving incident because he did not see it himself, but the incident will be reviewed by Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby on Sunday.
