After being arrested in January for allegedly raping two women, former NFL safety Darren Sharper has been charged on two counts of rape by use of drugs in California.
Sharper reportedly invited both women into a hotel room before giving each of them a shot.
According to ESPN, Sharper is also under investigation for being connected to five other rapes and 11 druggings in separate states.
These allegedly occurred in areas such as Las Vegas, Tempe and New Orleans. Prosecutors motioned for Sharper's bail to be set at $10 million.
Sharper went to Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, but his lawyers requested that his arraignment be delayed until Feb. 20. Their request was granted.
Sharper will also face four charges of furnishing a controlled substance and an additional count of possession of a controlled substance, according to NBC Sports. The drugs are reported to be morphine and zolpidem.
Sharper played for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints, making five NFC Pro Bowl teams and winning a Super Bowl with the Saints in 2009.
He is expected to face more than 30 years in state prison for his California charges if he is convicted.
