AMC's hit drama, Breaking Bad has come to a conclusion in the United States but it is still burning up DVR's all across the world.
For the first time in history Rentrak announced the Spanish VOD stats regarding most watched series in 2013 on on YOMVI, catch-up/TVOD/SVOD service of pay TV organization, Canal Plus. The two shows that were watched including Breaking Bad in the first position and The Walking Dead in second, both shows are produced by the AMC network.
Bad had over 954,359 views in 2013 and The Walking Dead came in at 629,648 views, Varietyreported.
Coming in third place on the stats released by Rentrak was the geek comedy, The Big Bang Theory which airs on CBS.
The YOMVI service is experiencing uncharted growth and demand as fans want to watch shows that air in the United States in Spain.
The AMC network is already planning a Breaking Bad spin off, Better Call Saul which will feature some of the original cast returning including, Jonathan Banks. After the show airs on AMC, Netflix will be streaming the entire first season of Better Call Saul similar to the format that AMC and Netflix had set up for Breaking Bad, Deadline added.
