Top 10 best moments so far for 'Revenge' season 3

ABC’s Sunday night drama Revenge seems to always up the ante. So far this season brought back characters, banished others and introduced new players in Emily Thorne’s game of revenge. On her quest to seek revenge for her wrongly accused late father, Emily has set out to destroy the people who destroyed her family, the Graysons. This season viewers have finally been able to see Emily’s end game. Throughout the season we saw as Emily has left clues to set up Victoria for the murder of Emily Thorne on her wedding day to Daniel Grayson. Ofcourse it wouldn’t be Revenge without some hiccups in the plans. Just as the season opened with the question, “who shot Emily Thorne?” the mid-season finale left us with even more un-answered questions. As viewers anxiously await the mid-season return of ABC’s Revenge on January 5 we count down the top 10 moments that have happened in the first-half of season 3.

10. The banishing of Ashley

In true revenge style, when someone gets in the way the only way to deal with them is to get rid of them. This is probably one of the few times Emily and Victoria play nice with one and other is when they’re trying to fight a common evil. In this case, Ashley Davenport, the social climbing ex-bestie and Daniel’s ex-girlfriend (for a brief moment in season 2).

9. Emily’s first marriage

Victoria thought she found the key to destroying the pending nuptials between her son Daniel and Emily. Little did she know it was all a part of Emily’s perfectly laid out plans to take down Victoria and she fell for the bait.

8. The return of Aiden

Thankfully this British heartthrob graced our screens again! He is the man who only truly knows Emily/Amanda. Aiden is our glimmer of hope that Emily will have a real chance at life and love post revenge.

7. Father Paul convincing Conrad to confess

In Father Paul we saw the light at the end of the tunnel of revenge. He was the man who could have released Emily from her life of revenge. Father Paul had audiences believing he had gotten into Conrad’s head and turned him into a new man, a man willing to own up to his actions.

6. Patrick’s the one who cut the brakes

Charlotte had us all convinced she was the one who wanted to kill her father but it was Victoria’s other child Patrick who wanted to help out his dearest mother. Patrick is still a mystery we have yet to learn about on this season. We know he is as smart and conniving as his mother but we just can’t figure out his end game. Lots of questions surround Patrick; the biggest would be is he a friend or foe to Emily and her plans?

5. The new and improved Charlotte.

Season 3 opened with an all-new Charlotte, she seemed older, mature, and a lot more Grayson. After losing her baby and her baby daddy, a new change was needed in Charlotte’s life. The shocking part was we all didn’t expect her to turn on Emily and work against her! She still however has her emotions and cares for her brother but this season Charlotte is playing the game, joining forces with her mother to break up Daniel and Emily. It just seems when it comes to Charlotte Emily has a soft spot for her real sister.

4. Jack is in on it all!

Jack FINALLY knows everything! He is the one who gives Emily her timeline or else he blows the whistle on the whole charade. So far this season it seems as though he can’t truly let go and say goodbye to Emily but he can’t stand what she’s doing either. He’s in a sort of limbo with Emily. He wants the Graysons to go down for everything they’ve taken away from him but Jack can’t wrap his head around the way of playing the game of revenge.

3. The return of Lydia Davis

Just when we think the witch is dead, she turns out to be unbreakable. Coming back as one of Marguax’s ultimate sources for her story on the Grayson’s Lydia is out for vengeance but it wasn’t long until Conrad and her stirred things up again. Dealing with Lydia since season 1 this lady proves to be a whole lot smarter than we give her credit for. She wants her social standing and power back and she’s willing to do whatever it takes. Switching alliances and teams it’s hard for us to believe anything Lydia is saying, all we know is she is definitely a threat to Emily.

2. Sara and Daniel’s rendezvouses
Oh Sara, the girl Daniel almost killed when he wrapped his car around a utility pole last summer; guess true love never dies. With the help of the new and improved Charlotte; Sara enters the scene and it isn’t long until she’s back on Daniels radar. The fact that our nice little naïve Danny was having these secret meetings and texts with Sara showed us that Daniel is a man who takes what he wants. Nope, this isn’t the same Daniel from season 1. This relationship has us questioning how the rest of season 3 will play out for this love triangle.

1. Daniel shoots Emily.

The mid-season finale gave us our answer to “who shot Emily Thorne?” After over hearing what Emily says to Victoria about faking the pregnancy Daniel finally got the low-down on his new wife. With emotions running high due to receiving news that his beloved Sara tried to commit suicide a drunken Daniel reaches for the gun and BANG BANG two shots fired right at Emily Thorne, causing her to go overboard. Realizing what he’s done Daniel throws the gun overboard and proceeds downstairs like nothing happened. A shocker to us all because out of all the suspects, we never thought Daniel would be the one to pull the trigger.

With new relationships, alliances, and what seems to be amnesia stricken Emily Thorne the rest of season 3 looks like it’s going to be a doozy.
