After splitting from her Vampire Diaries co-star, Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev is reportedly dating the brother of her best friend Julianne Hough.
It’s rumored that the actress is dating the Emmy-winning Dancing with the Stars dancer, Derek Hough, since the beginning of August.
Dobrev has mentioned Hough on Instagram, sharing a picture from WhoSay and congratulating him for his Emmy. “@derekhough Those of us touched by your light got to watch you brighten up the rest of the world. Keep shining!” she wrote.
She also wrote, "@Derekhough !!!!!!!! #EMMYWINNER I cant express in 140 characters how unbelievably excited+incredibly proud I am of you. You deserve this."
Derek responded by tweeting:

She also posted a picture of her friend, Julianne, with her rumored new boyfriend, writing “@juleshough You looked absolutely STUNNING last night ! @derekhough I wish I wasnt filming so I could have been there to celebrate w/u guys!”
An insider told E! News they’re “somewhat serious” already but Derek’s rep wouldn’t comment.
