'Whodunnit?' recap

The show begins with everyone getting their day of luxury services. Ronny and Melina are still up for elimination. Kam is getting a massage, Melina is getting a facial, Lindsey is getting a mani-pedi, Cris is doing yoga, and Ronny is relaxing in the hot tub. All of a sudden a loud explosion is heard and Kam, Cris, Lindsey and Melina all rush outside and find Ronny floating dead in the pool.

Giles comes out and announces to them that for the first time in the game the guests will have 4 different areas to investigate. Only one of the guests will be able to examine a new area, and in order to see it they must compete in an ice breaking contest. The first one who successfully breaks through a chunk of ice and grabs the yellow container inside will win the opportunity to examine the mystery area. And an extra 3 minutes in any other area.
When the ice breaking competition starts Melina is in the lead until Kam catches up and beats her. He chooses to examine the crime scene. Melina says she wants to go to the last known whereabouts and so does Lindsey; as a result an argument breaks out between all 4 guests. Giles tells them that the killer had anticipated that something like this might happen so he/she prepared envelopes for them each to draw to see who goes to what location.
When they get the envelopes Melina gets the morgue, Lindsey gets the last known whereabouts, which is the library. Cris investigate the crime scene, which Kam also had previously picked and he also gets to go into the mystery area. At the morgue Melina notices white foam on Ronny’s lips and that his temperature is 105 even though his body is covered in ice. Lindsey notices that in the library Ronny has written a note saying who the killer is but the name is blacked out. She also notices that there is a tray of tea and that one of the containers on the tray is missing a label. Cris notices at the pool where Ronny was thrown into there is a bunch of ice. Meanwhile Kam goes into the mystery room and watches footage of Ronny in the hot tub and then getting thrown into the pool.
When they come back into the common area to discuss what they found Melina is flying solo since all her team has been eliminated, so she starts making notes of everything that she has gathered. Then she goes and confronts the other 3 to rattle their cages and see if what she thought was correct, and it was.

During the challenge they all race to the kitchen to find barrels of Castor beans that they need to dig through to find a silver tube that will direct them to go look for something orange. Even though Kam is the last one to find the clue he is the first one to find the orange container outside that contains liquid nitrogen. He realizes that it was used to freeze Ronny. He also believes that Ronny might have been poisoned with Ricin because it is made out of Castor beans. They all break off and share their information. When Kam’s team is outside Melina eavesdrops on them and picks up some key info.
After they go into State your Case, two people pick Lindsey as the killer; one person picks Kam and on person picks Cris. At dinner Giles says that Kam has been spared. Lindsey and Melina get Scared cards while Cris gets a Spared card. People comment about how Cris has never received a Scared card. Giles tells everyone how the killer murdered Ronny. Ronny went into the library to write a letter to Giles explaining who the killer is, at this point the killer sends a maid to deliver some tea to Ronny. On the tea tray is Ricin in an unlabeled container, which Ronny accidentally puts into his tea. At this point the killer decided that Ronny’s spa treatment would be a relaxing time in the hot tub. The killer rigged the hot tub with the liquid nitrogen container that was set on a timer to go off. The ricin Ronny added to his tea caused his body temperature to rise to 105, which is what killed him. Then the timer went off and threw him into the pool.

In the morning all 4 guests are alive and Lindsey is acting very weird and loopy, like she is drunk. Giles tells them that they are all heading off of the property for a limo ride. They all get gifts of champagne flutes once inside the limo. They are then spun around in the limo as the driver is doing donuts and other crazy things with the car. They all then realize that they never had a chance to see who the driver was. They are then driven back to Rue Manor. Once they go inside they see a television and when it comes on they see Giles on the screen. He is in a secret location tied up with guns pointing at him; he tells them that unless they solve the final riddle he will die. At this moment gas starts flooding the living room they all start screaming and panic. They all start calling out each other’s names but realize that the one person who is not present when they call for her is Melina. The remaining 3 panic when they realize that Melina is missing.
