Comcast Mistakenly Airs Porn Over Cartoons; Parents a Bit Miffed

There's bound to be some confused children and some very ticked-off parents after a Disney cartoon was replaced with X-rated porn. Unfortunate toddlers who tuned in for Handy Manny, which airs on the "Playhouse Disney" block, got more than they bargained for when the cartoon was cut off and mistakenly replaced with hardcore adult-rated entertainment. One disgruntled parent was clued in that something was awry when his 5-year-old boy asked what the people on the TV were doing. Mr. Paul Dunleavy said that he turned to the TV and saw "two people doing their thing. It was full-on and it was disgusting."

A spokesman for Comcast has issued a statement exonerating "Playhouse Disney" (which is targeted at children 3 to 6) from any blame, saying that the programming error was the cable company's fault entirely. Comcast said that the issue was detected and resolved immediately, and the incident is being investigated. That hasn't satisfied disgruntled parents like Mr. Dunleavy, however, who said, "I try to protect my kids from a lot of things, but I wouldn't have thought Disney would become one of them."
